Three Days, Three Quotes: Day Two

Rules: (1) Thank the person who nominated you, (2) post a quote for three consecutive days, and (3) nominate three bloggers each day.

Aw yeah, coming back with another Jane Eyre quote, who’s surprised.

"Do you think, because I am poor, obscure, plain, and little, I am soulless and heartless? You think wrong! I have as much soul as you, and full as much heart!"

Shout out to Gel for the tag. Thanks again, Gel!

Today I’m nominating (but only if they’re willing):

Kindly let me know if you do accept the nomination, so I can refresh your blogs obsessively until you’ve posted your own quotes. No pressure.

Edited to add: I just adjusted my nomination links so hopefully they’ll create pingbacks for you three. Sorry about that!

    1. Isn’t it great? I’m glad you like it! =D

The book definitely isn’t for everyone; it’s a little dense, and has a fairly somber, steady pace that could be boring/off-putting to readers who are more used to the wild emotions, exciting action, and romantic romance of YA novels. Jane Eyre has romance, but the book focuses more on Jane’s growth as a person, from a strong but unwanted and abused child to a strong, independent woman who knows her own worth. If you’re into rather dark books and don’t mind a rather slow pace, you might love it!

You’ll have to let me know if you read it. I’d be interested to hear what you think of it. =)

      1. I’ll start working on it now. Feel free to obsessively refresh sometime in the next few hours. 😊 I was thinking about sticking with the same book for the 3 days. Is that okay or do I need to switch it up? Not sure how this works…

      2. I’ll get my refresh-finger ready!

No hordes of scolding bloggers have descended on me for using the same book two days in a row, so I’m guessing using the same book for all three days is safe! If I’m wrong and they savage you, I apologize in advance.
